An illegal migrant from Venezuela pleaded guilty Monday to causing a December 2023 car crash that killed an 11-year-old Missouri boy and injured his family, according to FOX 2 Now.

Endrina Bracho pleaded guilty to first-degree involuntary manslaughter and two counts of second-degree assault in St. Louis County Circuit Court as a result of the crash, FOX 2 Now reported.

Bracho entered into a blind plea, which means the defendant agreed to plead guilty “without prior discussion or agreement with the prosecution about sentencing,” according to the outlet.

At the time of the incident, Bracho was traveling westbound on Dunn Road in a Dodge van with her two children. She then allegedly crossed into the eastbound lane, where she struck Travis Wolfe and his family’s Jeep head-on, the outlet reported, citing both the Hazelwood Police Department and an eyewitness.

Bracho was allegedly driving 35 miles above the speed limit, and Wolfe and his family were hospitalized. According to FOX 2 Now, the 11-year-old was critically injured and placed on life support, dying on March 6, 2024, the day before his 12th birthday. The 11-year-old sustained a brain injury in the accident, while his parents suffered broken bones, Newsweek reported in December 2024. Bracho’s two children were also injured, according to Newsweek.

Bracho is in the U.S. illegally, FOX 2 Now reported in January 2025, citing court records. At the time, she was being held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Indiana, according to the outlet.

Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley reacted to Wolfe’s death by introducing “Travis’s Law” in January 2025. In a statement announcing the measure, Hawley emphasized protecting Americans from preventable crimes.

“Under President Biden’s open border, Missouri’s 12-year-old Travis Wolfe was killed by an illegal alien, who was then released from jail. There’s no legislation less controversial than protecting American citizens from dangerous illegal aliens—and preventing another death like Travis’s. My amendment, Travis’s Law, would guarantee the detention of criminal illegals who commit a motor vehicle crime or victimize a minor,” Hawley said.

Hawley also introduced the law as an amendment to the Laken Riley Act. (RELATED: Illegal Migrant Teen Charged With Fatal Long Island Stabbing, Arrested At Scene)

Bracho will be sentenced on September 12, according to FOX 2 Now. Prosecutors have recommended a 10-year sentence for the involuntary manslaughter charge and seven years for each assault charge. The sentences would be served concurrently.

Two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and two misdemeanor traffic charges were dismissed, FOX 2 Now reported.
